Other popups (the folder pane, the status bar, the sametime names) do not cause this problem, ONLY the search opane
Why is this an issue?
Well, because after doing a search, a common thing to do is swipe'n'select the search argument and overtype in a new search arg - but if, in that swipe, your mouse cursor fractionally strays into the search results text above, your selection is gone and you end up NOT overtyping the old search arg with a new search arg, rather appending or prepending it
